3. Thick Mango Smoothie Bowl
Best for: warm mornings and fruit-focused breakfasts.
You’ll need
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 frozen banana
- ½ cup Greek yogurt
- ¼–½ cup milk
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened coconut
Blend it correctly
Add the frozen mango, banana, Greek yogurt, and ¼ cup of milk to a blender.
Blend until thick.
Only add more milk if the blades need help moving the mixture. Add it gradually rather than pouring in the entire additional ¼ cup immediately.
Transfer to a bowl and finish with chia seeds and coconut.
Why did my smoothie bowl turn into a drink?
Usually, there’s simply too much liquid.
A smoothie bowl should be substantially thicker than a drinking smoothie because it needs enough structure to support toppings.
Start with less milk. You can always add more.
